still alive!

Always a late bloomer, I caught the COVID last week. which also happened to be the week I had a really important grant due for a really important project I’ve been working on for a really long time.

I’m still exhausted and still catching up, so, as a placeholder, I am sharing with you a podcast I did with the lovely Askin. It covers life in Turkey, making community, dating, dating Turkish guys, addiction, recovery, meditation, and surviving trauma, so basically almost exactly as what you’d read here.

Django and I are heading to Fethiye for a couple of weeks today to spend time with my dad and escape the Big Smoke. I look forward to sharing exciting updates with you from there.
